Sophia F.
Rahman is a Business Development Associate of our
investment adviser. Ms. Rahman joined Fifth Street in
2007. Prior to joining Fifth Street, she was an
Associate at SVB Global, a subsidiary of Silicon Valley
Bank, where she was based in Santa Clara, CA and
Bangalore, India. She focused on generating new
investment opportunities in life science and technology
companies in Asia. Before working at SVB Global, Ms.
Rahman was an analyst at E*Trade Financial where she was
in a rotational program through the stocks and trading,
commercial lending and mortgage divisions.
Ms. Rahman received her B.A. in International Studies with
a concentration in Business from the University of
California, Irvine. She is a member of Women in Growth
Investing in Los Angeles, CA.
